Retraction and Editorial expressions of concern

Process for handling cases requiring corrections

In case of any error in the article, the editorial team will assess the severity of the error to determine if it impacts the study’s conclusions or requires minor adjustments. If necessary, the authors will be notified to confirm the error and provide the correct information. A correction notice will be prepared, clearly stating the error and the corrected information, and published in the journal with a link to the original article. The correction will also be noted in indexing databases to ensure transparency. Finally, editors will monitor the situation to ensure that the correction resolves the issue, maintaining the integrity of the publication.

Retraction

Manuscripts found to contain unethical practices will be promptly rejected or retracted, and appropriate actions will be taken against authors, including notification of their institutions and funding agencies.

Editorial expressions of concern

The journal will alert readers of potential issues with a published paper, such as ethical concerns, methodological flaws, or undisclosed conflicts of interest, while an investigation is conducted. Depending on the investigation’s outcome, the paper may be corrected or retracted, or the concern may be cleared.
